National PTA
Options on this site include locating parenting tips, health and safety information, information on drugs and alcohol and ideas for family fun. There is also a link for finding your local PTA, a parent involvement resource page, as well as multiple discussion boards.

Parents’ Action for Children
Parents' Action for Children has created a unique partnership with leading websites to bring together on its site the information that parents need and want. Parents can go to site and find regularly-updated information and resources from each of the key partners. Parents' Action for Children was formerly the I Am Your Child Foundation.

National Association for the Education of Young Children
Devoted to assuring the provision of high quality early childhood programs for young children. Provides a link for parents to find an accredited program for their children and links for books/brochures on parenting.

Society for Research in Child Development
The purposes of the Society are to promote multidisciplinary research in the field of human development, to foster the exchange of information among scientists and other professionals of various disciplines, and to encourage applications of research findings.
