Institution Center on Children and Families
Presents policy research focused on the well-being of

The Federal Interagency Forum on Child and Family Statistics (Forum) is a

The goal of the Harvard Family
Research Project is to increase the educational and social success of children

NCCP
NCCP provides information for policymakers regarding issues
such as Head Start, child care, and federal assistance programs, as they relate

National Association for the
Education of Young Children
NAEYC focuses on the quality of educational and developmental
services for all children from birth through age 8. This site has a Public
Policy section that provides links to recent research and reports helpful for
policy and advocacy on the following topics:
preschool, pre-K, Head Start, early childhood
literacy, school readiness and primary education.
National
Governors Association
NGA's Center for Best Practices covers: school readiness,
school health, No Child Left Behind, higher education, teacher quality, and
education reform.

Institute for Early Education Research, Rutgers University
NIEER publishes Preschool Policy Matters, a set of research
briefs, which address early childhood education issues such as class size,
preschool attendance, Head Start teachers, and outcomes and assessment.

Public Agenda
Public Agenda seeks to increase public engagement through
